Architectural renderings that recently resurfaced of the proposed redevelopment of KBR’s former home along an eastern stretch of Buffalo Bayou were created as part of last year’s bid to lure Amazon’s second headquarters to Houston.

An official from Midway, the company planning the East River redevelopment project, said the drawings were created to help the tech giant (or any large corporate user, for that matter) visualize the site’s potential.
