The Development Corporation of Mercedes is a publicly funded not-for-profit corporation, which was established to create jobs in the City of Mercedes by attracting new industry and business as well as assisting existing companies to expand.The Development Corporation of Mercedes is managed by a seven member volunteer board, which works closely with the City of Mercedes administration.
