Upper Kirby mixed-use development signs first office tenants

In Upper Kirby, a luxury mixed-use project has signed its first office tenants.

Mississippi-based Hancock Whitney Bank, Houston-based Novum Energy Trading Inc. and Jacksonville, Florida-based Regency Centers have signed offices leases totaling nearly 37,000 square feet at New York-based Thor Equities’ Kirby Collection, according to a press release. The new tenants are expected to move into the development, at 3200 Kirby Drive, during the second quarter of 2018.

Hancock Whitney Bank, the banking subsidiary of Hancock Holding Co.(Nasdaq: HBHC), leased about 23,775 square feet, which includes the entire 11th floor and ground-floor retail banking space, per the release. The company will move its regional headquarters to the tower, which boasts of 13 stories and 186,000 square feet of Class A office space.
