A Houston-based architecture firm will soon relocate its headquarters in an effort to activate a portion of Houston’s historic Fifth Ward.

In January, Parra Design Group will deliver its new two-story headquarters building at 4619 Lyons Ave. in the Fifth Ward. Each floor plate contains 1,500 square feet; the architecture firm will occupy the property’s second floor and is leaving the first floor available for another office tenant. Parra Design Group will also use a 4,000-square-foot warehouse property on the land.

Parra Design Group’s headquarters was previously located at 4020 Koehler St. near Rice Military. That property has since sold; information on the buyer wasn’t made available. Parra Design Group broke ground on the new headquarters building in August 2016. Costs associated with the project, as well as information on a general contractor, weren’t available.
