Residential demand remains strong in downtown Houston, according to a new report.

Developers delivered 1,555 new apartment units downtown in 2016. The majority of units — 948 — were delivered in the fourth quarter, according to Central Houston’s fourth quarter 2016 report, which tracks the progress of residential and commercial developments in the Central Business District.
