One of the latest mixed-use developments underway inside the Loop promises boutique office space, room for local retailers and modern finishes, once it overcomes a handful of challenges.

The Fairview District in Montrose, which has been in the planning stages since at least December 2015, will contain four buildings totaling 60,000 square feet and a five-story parking garage. The project’s developer, SFT Investments, recently retained CBRE to lease its office space and Dallas-based Edge Realty Partners’ Houston office to lease its retail space.
