Exclusive: Dallas real estate company expands to Houston with local talent

A Dallas-based title services company just opened its first Houston office with the help of some local talent.

Allegiance Title Co., a title insurance services company that works primarily in residential real estate, just opened its first Houston office in Uptown. Six workers from Houston’s Riverway Title Co., including Riverway’s then-owner and CEO Vic Condrey, joined Allegiance to form its Houston office and expand the company’s commercial offerings.

“We’re looking to expand in all geographic areas and industries,” Condrey said. “All six of us have a lengthy history in the commercial title business. I’ve spent 40 years in commercial real estate. … Our vision is to expand (Allegiance) into the residential arena (in Houston) as well, and open satellite offices in the Houston metroplex. We’re actively looking to hire people, we’re actively looking to buy companies and we’re actively seeking to enlarge our client base.”
