DALLAS – September 3, 2015 – Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Dallas is getting ready for the second year of “An Evening of Outstanding Achievement” co-sponsored by Hall Financial Group and Locke Lord on Thursday, September 24th at 6:15 p.m. at the BELO MANSION in downtown Dallas. The event will honor four finalists for the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award (OAA) for their achievement in commercial real estate and the community. The OAA award dates back to 1984 and is the highest award and recognition given each year to a CREW Dallas member.
An Evening of Outstanding Achievement will be a memorable night for the OAA finalists and prior award winners such as Leigh Richter, the 2014 OAA winner, and a senior vice president with Bradford Commercial. “I was so keyed up as I was called out as winner. It truly is the highest honor given by CREW, which has been a significant benefit to me as a broker and an individual. I have gained many new clients and friends as a result of my membership in CREW Dallas. I couldn’t be more excited,” Richter said.
Richter will present the 2015 award to one of the four finalists which include Brenda Blake (B&J Financial Services, PLLC), Michelle Hudson (Hudson Peters Commercial), Kennis Ketchum (Portfolio Development, LLC) and Rebecca Tudor (Twinrose Investments, LLC).
The CREW event will also be memorable for others in attendance as the evening represents the 35th anniversary of the CREW organization noted Sally Longroy, president of CREW Dallas and a shareholder with Guida, Slavich & Flores, P.C. “This is a special moment for us to celebrate. CREW members know how esteemed and special the OAA award is; we are excited to include a broader representation of commercial real estate and business people to our 35th celebration this year,” said Longroy.
In addition to the award presentation, guests will also enjoy a cocktail reception, then dinner, followed by the keynote address by Joanne Lipman, journalist, author, media commentator and a former deputy managing editor of the Wall Street Journal.
