DALLAS (August 3, 2015) – Stream Realty Partners, a national real estate services, development and investment firm, recently announced a 28-acre land acquisition at the corner of Interstate 35W and State Highway 114. This land will be the site of Farmer Brothers Co.’s new headquarters facility located in Northlake, Texas.
“This build to suit project was highly competitive and the outcome was one of the most creative and complex deal structures I have ever seen,” said Cannon Green, managing director and partner of Stream’s DFW operation. “Conversations started a year ago on our neighboring project…we were able to leverage our relationship with the same land seller who sold us the land for Northport 35 to acquire the land for this project.”
Northport 35 is Stream’s three building, 945,000 square foot, speculative, industrial project that broke ground in January.
Farmer Brothers new headquarters will include corporate office space, a training facility, a coffee roasting plant and distribution warehouse. Stream’s development team led by Cannon Green, Albert Jarrell and Bob Hagewood, will commence construction on the project in August.
“This corporate relocation will positively add to the momentum the Alliance Corridor is benefiting from including our development underway in Northlake,” said Green.
Cannon Green and Bob Hagewood represented Stream Realty Acquisition, LLC on the land transaction. The land contract holder, Mr. Bill Vaughan, represented himself. The site will be developed by Stream, owned by Wells Fargo and leased by Farmer Brothers.
