An affiliate of the Houston-based real estate investment trust, Hartman Ashford Crossing LLC, purchased the Ashford Crossing II office building at Dairy Ashford Road and Whittington Drive, according to Realty News Report.
The 158,451-square-foot, six-story building is 87 percent leased and located in the Energy Corridor, a market that is exceeding expectations amid the oil slump, according to a first-quarter report from PM Realty Group.
This is Hartman XX’s second major purchase in Houston this summer.
In June, the company bought an office property in north Houston’s Greenspoint submarket from Orlando-based Parkway Properties (NYSE: PKY).
Late last year, another Hartman XX affiliate bought two office properties along Highway 6 in northwest Houston.
Dave Wheeler, Julian Kwok, CCIM and Russell Turman represented Hartman Ashford Crossing in its latest transaction. Dan Miller and Marty Hogan of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP represented the seller. [Houston Business Journal]
