Woodlands plans to buy GE division property for future expansion

The Woodlands Township board of directors recently approved a proposal to purchase an 11.6 acre property from Pennsylvania-based GE Betz Inc., a division of GE power and Water.

According to a release from the board, the property at 9669 Grogan’s Mill Road will allow The Woodlands to plan for future governmental buildings, such as a city hall or municipal court, which the township would need it were to incorporate. [Houston Business Journal]
