The strong leasing activity tied to Dallas-based Crow Holdings Industrial’s recently completed building at Wildlife Commerce Park in Grand Prairie has caused the developer to begin work on its second, 345,000-square-foot Class A warehouse.
The buildings sit within the new 220-acre business park, which will total 2.8 million square feet of industrial space throughout nine buildings.
The developer has seen strong interest and tenant demand for its second building, Wildlife 2, said Will Mundinger III, founding partner of Crow Holdings Industrial.
Last year, Crow Holdings broke ground on its first, 315,000-square-foot warehouse and already has leased the entire building, expected to be completed by the end of the month. The tenants — Milgard Manufacturing, AT&T-Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and Millennium Packaging — will begin their leases in the first quarter.
O’Brien Architects, Halff Associates, Pritchard Associates, RPMx Construction, TBG Partners and Ridgemont Construction are working on the new project.
Wildlife Commerce Park includes a 100-acre lake and upgraded interior roadways. Crow Holdings is marketing a 58-acre site for retail development. If leasing goes well, the developer could to build a 1.7 million-square-foot warehouse, which would be the largest in Dallas-Fort Worth.
